Actress Parvathy, who has been at the receiving end for her progressive opinions regarding the Sabarimala issue, shared her views on the same.
The actress said in an interview to a media house that she doesn't believe that menstruation is "impure." She said that women can't be discriminated in the name of menstruation for long and said that those who propagate it as something impure are the ones who are stuck in a patriarchal mindset.
Paravathy added that she will go to temples during her menstruation cycle if she feels like it, which stating that she will be crucified for this stance.
