Saajan Bakery’s fun, love-hate sibling story

Sibling rivalry at its most fun, that is the basis of Saajan Bakery Since 1962, which features Lena and Aju Varghese as Betsy and Boban. The film directed and co-written by Arun Chandu, with Sachin R Chandran and Aju “looks at social conditioning and the family issues that we see on a day to day basis”, says Lena.
“Aju had called to wish me last Onam and he told me I should do Saajan Bakery, because it is going to be so much fun.Arun Chandu, who has a flair for tongue-in-cheek comedy, uses our sibling dynamics to tell a layered story,” says Lena. Ranjitha Menon plays Aju’s pair.
