Saajan Bakery’s fun, love-hate sibling story

Sibling rivalry at its most fun, that is the basis of

Saajan Bakery Since 1962

, which features Lena and Aju Varghese as Betsy and Boban. The film directed and co-written by Arun Chandu, with Sachin R Chandran and Aju “looks at social conditioning and the family issues that we see on a day to day basis”, says Lena.

“Aju had called to wish me last Onam and he told me I should do Saajan Bakery, because it is going to be so much fun. Arun Chandu, who has a flair for tongue-in-cheek comedy, uses our sibling dynamics to tell a layered story,” says Lena. Ranjitha Menon plays Aju’s pair.
