Today India woke up to the news of legendary actor Rishi Kapoor’s unfortunate demise. The Bollywood’s evergreen hero, Rishi Kapoor breathed his last today, at the age of 67. The veteran actor passed away in a hospital in Mumbai, where he was admitted after his health deteriorating. The actor was battling cancer since 2018. Mollywood actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas and others have taken to their social media handles to mourn the death of the veteran actor.
Prithviraj Sukumaran, who was fortunate to work with Rishi Kapoor in ‘Aurangazeb’ penned a heartfelt farewell note.

“This is a sad sad week for cinema. Rest in peace #Rishi sir. Had the absolute privilege of working with him in #Aurangzeb and I’ll forever be thankful for the time I got to spend with him. Used to tell me he can’t call me by name as I shared it with his grand father. Farewell legend. We will miss you!,” Prithviraj wrote.

Priya Prakash Varrier who received Rishi Kapoor’s tweet following her viral wink wrote, “I can’t even begin to tell you how much these words mean to me. They motivate and help me have faith even when I refuse to believe in myself. It is one thing I shall cherish forever. I wish me apke time mein hoti aur bas ek baar apse milti
May your soul rest in peace sir.”

Tovino Thomas was also deeply saddened by the veteran actor’s demise. Paying tribute to the actor, Tovino wrote, “Another great loss for the film industry! RIP sir .#rishikapoor.”
