Resul Pookutty's The Sound Story will premiere at Toronto

Resul Pokkutty's much awaited film on the Thrissur Pooram, The Sound Story, will premiere at Canada on August 11. The film will see the world renowned Pookutty as an actor, a sound engineer who records the sounds of the pooram in all its glory. Pookutty himself announced the news, through a social media post.
''Happy to let you all know my film based on 1133 year old tradition of Sound now known as #ThrissurPooram is been celebrated with its World Premiere in Canada on August 11th as a “Seat Of Culture” It’s an affirmation for all the hard work done by #PrasadPrabhakar the director, #RajeevPanakal, the man who opened the door of Pooram to me, the brilliant camera crew headed by #AniyanChithrasala , our very own #Waterman and my immensely talented Sound Team.‬Above all #PeruvanamKuttanMarar and his worlds best team of musicians..The authorities of #Thrissur Temple and the people of kerala, we are opening the door of our heritage to the world (sic).
A specialty of the film is that it can be enjoyed with your eyes closed, Pookutty had revealed earlier.
