WCC member Remya Nambeeshan denies actor Siddique's statement that Prithviraj and her were a part of the executive committee that invalidated Dileep's expulsion from
A.M.M.A
last year.
Remya has reportedly said that she didn't attend the second executive meeting, as alleged by Siddique. She reportedly claimed that she couldn't be a part of the meeting due to professional commitments and hence wasn't aware of the outcome. The
actress
also alleged that the recent statements made by A.M.M.A members were to create confusion among public and media.
Remya also said that WCC does not have any agenda to create a split in A.M.M.A while adding that the resignation from the actors' association is because they can't turn a blind eye towards what is happening inside the body.
Siddique had said that the initial decision to oust Dileep from A.M.M.A following his alleged involvement in an actress abduction case last year, was made invalid in a second executive meeting in which he claimed Prithviraj and Remya Nambeeshan were part of.
