Remembering Jayan on his 41st death anniversary: Must-watch action movies of the actor

Krishnan Nair AKA Jayan could be termed as the macho man of the Malayalam film industry. From his unique acting style to heart-pounding action scenes Jayan has created a separate fan base among the audience. Although Jayan did his acting debut in the film ‘Postmane Kanmanilla’, the first film that was credited in his filmography was the 1974 film ‘Shapa Moksham’ which was directed by Jeassy and was the first film where he made the first appearance with the name ‘Jayan’. From there on he rose to fame with a reputation of having a macho appeal and being involved in performing stunts of a dangerous nature on his own. At a time when Hollywood had Clint Eastwood, we had this iconic man Jayan who represented the epitome of stardom. On his 41st death anniversary, let’s take a look into some of his nail-biting action movies.

There is an unbelievable action sequence between Jayan and an elephant near a hilltop. This is one of the best examples to prove how dedicated the actor was in executing a scene with near perfection. The Film Ariyappedatha Rahasyam has several notable stars such as Prem Nazir, Jayan, Jayabharathi, Jose Prakash, etc.
