Ranjini Haridas to do a cameo in ‘Khali Purse of the Billionaires’

,’ which has Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese and Tanvi Ram in lead roles, anchor – actress Ranjini Haridas will appear in a guest role.

The film’s shoot had recently started in Kochi. The movie also has its screenplay by the director himself and its shoot was started on November 25 after a pooja at Anchumana Temple, Edappally.

Reportedly, the film is about two young men, played by Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese. Their characters are named Bibin Das and Bibin Vijay, and apparently their school teachers and friends start calling them Dasan and Vijayan, post which the name stuck. In the film, the duo are shown as two IT professionals who are also planning a business venture together, and are facing numerous hurdles in the process.

Meanwhile, Ranjini is also busy with her TV show ‘Ingane Oru Bharyayum Bharthavum.’ The programme’s teasers had shown Ranjini conducting a ‘Swayamvaram.’ Many celebs like Manju Warrier, Mukesh, Ramesh Pisharody, Sabumon and more also come into the show to support her. Alongside Ranjini, 12 other couples, alongside their mothers-in-law, are also part of the show.

Ranjini has worked in movies earlier too. In the year 1986, she had debuted as a school kid through the film ‘Geetham,’ directed by Sajan. In 2011, she had played herself in the film ‘China Town,’ directed by Rafi Mecartin and starring Mohanlal, Dileep, Jayaram and Kavya Madhavan. In 2012, she played a television presenter in the Nithya Menen – Shwetha Menon movie ‘Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty,’ directed by T K Rajeev Kumar.
