Actor-comedian Ramesh Pisharody, who has earlier helmed films ‘Panchavarnathatha’ and 'Ganagandharvan', is set to announce his next directorial. Popular actor Soubin Shahir will be headlining the upcoming film, which is scripted by Santhosh Aechikkanam, who has previously crafted the screenplay for ‘Nidra’, ‘Annayum Rasoolum’, and ‘Njan Steve Lopez’, among others.
Ramesh Pisharody announced the film via his social media handle. He dropped a picture with Soubin Shahir and confirmed the project. “Friends, Soubin Shahir will be the hero in the next film I am directing. Written by Santhosh Aechikkanam, Production Badusha Cinemas (Badusha, Shinoy).”

Ramesh Pisharody, who is a household name for the Malayalees, debuted as a filmmaker in 2018 with ‘Panchavarnathatha’ starring Jayaram. Later in 2019, he directed Mammootty for ‘Ganagandharvan’.
On the other hand, Soubin Shahir’s recent outings were the 2023 releases 'Romancham' and ‘King of Kotha', among others. Jibin Madhavan’s ‘Romancham’, a horror comedy, was one of the biggest blockbusters of the past year.
