The wait is finally over for Rajinikanth's ardent fans in Kerala as his highly anticipated movie "Jailer" is set to release on August 10th. Reportedly, ‘Jailer’ will be released in over 300 screens in Kerala.

Although the screen counts are not officially declared by the makers of ‘Jailer’, the Rajinikanth starrer will be reportedly gracing 300 plus screens in Kerala. The decision to release "Jailer" on over 300 screens showcases the immense popularity and demand for Rajinikanth's movies in Kerala.


‘Jailer’ is expected to create a storm at the box office and reaffirm Rajinikanth's status as a cinematic legend, leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of moviegoers across Kerala. The movie is also expected to be the comeback of the director Nelson whose previous outing ‘Beast’ starring Vijay in the lead, flopped at the box office.

Adding to the excitement levels, the Mollywood actor Mohanlal will be playing a significant cameo role in the film as the character named Mathew. The movie also has the actors Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vinayakan, and Mirnaa Menon in significant roles.

Interestingly, Dhyan Sreenivasan’s thriller film ‘Jailer’ is also set to compete with the Rajinikanth starrer with the same day release which is scheduled for August 10 this year.
