Rahul Madhav bags lead role in family drama

Rahul Madhav who was noticed for his performances in

100 Days of Love

and

Thani Oruvan

, recently wound up the shoot of debutant director Joshy Thomas' campus film. Rahul is now gearing up to act in and as Shyam in Sebastian Maliyekkal's family drama.

'Rahul will be seen in the titular role in the movie. It is all about Shyam's relationships with his mom, lover and friends,' says Sebastian.
Bollywood actress Aparnaa Bajpai and performing artiste Sajitha Madathil will play the roles of Rahul's girlfriend and mother respectively. 'Shyam is just like any other guy whom everyone can relate to. The movie will traverse through his childhood and youth. The relationship between Shyam and his mother is special. His mom is responsible for shaping his character and this takes the movie forward,' the director adds.

Actors Bhagath Manuel, Govindankutty and Vivek Gopan will be seen as Rahul's friends in the film. Rahul Madhav says, 'The movie has four youngsters who are bachelors. Certain incidents in their lives form the plot. Basically, the film is about how one's childhood experiences influence their future and personality.'
