Priyanandanan's short-film 'Ashantham' will be screened on June 15 at Thrissur

Award-winning director Priyanandanan's short film titled 'Ashantham,' which speaks about the vision of a mind that has encountered some unfortunate incidents will be screened at Thrissur Regional Theatre on June 15 at 6.30 pm. The screening will be inaugurated by director P T Kunjumuhammed.

The 16-minute long short-film is based on Tessy Rony's story and P N Gopikrishnan's script. On the film, Priyanandanan had recently said in an interview that it questions the necessity of religion, colourism and casteism. "The film is narrated through two artistes who represents the colours black and white," he said.
