After a string of roles as a serious cop, actor Prithviraj will try something light next. Scriptwriter turned filmmaker Dileesh Nair’s satire titled Tamaar Padaar will see Prithviraj in a prominent role. The film’s female lead has not been fixed yet. “In comic books, the terms ‘Tamaar Padaar’ is used a lot to indicate various noises. They give a strong humorous effect to the situation represented.
We have borrowed the terms for the title of the film,” says Dileesh, who has co-scripted many films like Aashiq Abu’s
Salt N’ Pepper, Da Thadiya and
Idukki Gold. The director himself has penned the script for
Tamaar Padaar. “We are planning to start the first schedule of the film in a few weeks. Trivandrum will be one of the main locations,” he adds. As of now, the team has not finalised any other actors or technicians. Meanwhile, Prithviraj has just wrapped up the shoot of
7th Day, in which he sports the current hot look of M-town, salt and pepper.
