Prithviraj's mother Mallika rescued from flooding home

Kerala has been witnessing unprecedented rainfall and flooding, and no one is spared.

Pictures of actor Prithviraj's home at Thiruvananthapuram has been circulating, and now, a photo of

Mallika Sukumaran

being rescued on a large vessel has shocked all. The photos see the actor's palatial home half submerged in water, together with all the expensive furniture and other items inside, besides the family car. In the last photo, Mallika Sukumaran can be seen being moved out of the case by a group of people, where the actress is sitting in a large aluminium vessel.

So far, 79 people have lost their lives in the disaster, and thousands have been displaced.
