The actress and the mother of Prithviraj Sukumaran also adds that when she saw the movie 'Nine,' the first thing came to her mind was about Prithviraj and his father Sukumaran. The actress shared her anticipation about the wait for the movie.

Actress Mallika took Facebook to share her opinion on the movie. She said, ''The main factor of the movie 'Nine' is the bond of a father and his son. The first thing that came to my mind after knowing about the movie was my younger song Prithviraj and my Sukuvettan, his father. As Prithvi's father was an actor, he used to ask questions about films. After watching the movie, he would have a bundle of doubts to clear about the top angle shot or wide shot or profile shot. He used to ask that, ''Father, how does this camera uncle shoot these shots?" And Sukuvettan (Actor Sukumaran) used to clarify those doubts. Both our sons used to ask, but Prithvi was more curious. I am not even sure that if he is remembering these things. But since childhood he wanted to know these technicalities. I am a mother who has seen his curiosity to know things and has also seen his happiness while he got answers. So 'Nine' is definitely a big start."

The Prithviraj starrer upcoming film 'Nine' is a sci-fi horror thriller. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran will play the lead character of Albert in the film. Prakash Raj will also be a part of the movie. He will be playing the character of Dr. Inayat Ali Khan. Actress Wamiqa Gabbi will be seen playing Ava. The film is a dark themed one and of science fiction genre.

'Nine' is directed by Januse Mohammed Majeed. The director had earlier worked with Dulquer Salmaan for '100 days of love.' The film stars Mamta Mohandas, Wamiqa Gabbi and Prakash Raj who are handling the pivotal roles. Abinandhan Ramanujam has been cranked in as the cinematographer of the project.
