The film, also starring Unni Mukundan,

Mamtha Mohandas

, Raashi Khanna, Surabhi Lakshmi, Ananya, yesteryear actor Shankar, Jagadish, Sudheer Karamana and more will start rolling in Kochi on January 27. The film’s cinematography is also by the director himself.

Sarath Balan scripts the film and writes its dialogues. Its editing is by Sreekar Prasad and music direction by Jakes Bejoy. If reports are to be believed, the film is the remake of the hit Bollywood movie ‘Andadhun,’ which had Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead.

Earlier, a source close to the project had told us, “There was a bit of confusion regarding the dates because of the pandemic restrictions. Also, the actors have been busy with other projects too. Even the January 27 date is a bit tentative as so many other matters have to fall in place and that too very soon.”

Andhadhun, directed by Sreeram Raghavan, is also being remade in Tamil as Andhagan, with Prashanth and Simran. A Telugu remake with Nithiin and Tamannaah is also in production. The Bollywood film also had Tabu and Radhika Apte in major roles.
