Prithviraj Sukumaran marked his directorial debut with Lucifer last year. With the movie going to break all box office records in Malayalam, you would think that the superstar-director would have his job a bit more easy for its second instalment, titled Empuraan.
However, Prithviraj disagrees. “Empuraan is going to be tougher. Lucifer always had the surprise factor.
Nobody knew what I could do or what I was going to come up with. People within the industry might have known that I can pull off a film. But after you do a movie like Lucifer, I know that people will now walk into the theatres expecting at least a Lucifer. Obviously, the pressure is more, and I understand that it is going to be a tougher proposition and I must make it a more gratifying viewing experience for the audience. I am going to do my best,” he says.
Prithviraj, meanwhile, is set to resume the shoot of Aadujeevitham in Jordan in a week’s time.
