Prithviraj: The pressure for Empuraan is more than Lucifer

Prithviraj Sukumaran marked his directorial debut with

Lucifer

last year. With the movie going to break all box office records in Malayalam, you would think that the superstar-director would have his job a bit more easy for its second instalment, titled

Empuraan

.

However, Prithviraj disagrees. “Empuraan is going to be tougher. Lucifer always had the surprise factor. Nobody knew what I could do or what I was going to come up with. People within the industry might have known that I can pull off a film. But after you do a movie like Lucifer, I know that people will now walk into the theatres expecting at least a Lucifer. Obviously, the pressure is more, and I understand that it is going to be a tougher proposition and I must make it a more gratifying viewing experience for the audience. I am going to do my best,” he says.

Prithviraj, meanwhile, is set to resume the shoot of Aadujeevitham in Jordan in a week’s time.
