Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Theerppu’ to release on THIS date

After the critically acclaimed Dileep starrer ‘Kammara Sambhavam’, the director Rathish Ambat is all set for his next ‘Theerppu’ and the makers unveiled the release date of the film on the last day which is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 25.

Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran who plays the lead character in ‘Theerppu’, took to his official Instagram handle and shared a minimalistic style poster for the film. Sharing the poster, the ‘Kaduva’ actor penned a note that read, “#Theerppu releasing in theatres worldwide on 25th AUGUST! Thematic poster.”

It was on the last day that the makers unveiled the character look poster for the actors Saiju Kurup and Indrajith Sukumaran who are essaying the characters Parameshwaran Potty and Kalyan Menon in the film.

‘Theerppu’ thematic poster posits that the film will be a mystery subject with several characters having an underlying suspicious nature to them. Also, the poster has a snake and ladder game style and the main characters are shown in contrast with the historical figures such as Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Hitler, and Joseph Stalin. The movie also comes with the tagline, ‘Verdicts and beyond’.

The recently released second teaser for the film showed Prithviraj’s character unveiling his childhood memories by playing a game of cricket with the other characters in the film.

Helmed by the director Rathish Ambat, the script of ‘Theerppu’ will be penned down by the writer-actor Murali Gopy. Actors Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saiju Kurup, Vijay Babu, Isha Talwar, and Hannah Reji Koshy will be seen in major roles.
