Prashanth Neel's recent action film, 'Salaar part 1: Ceasefire,' has achieved considerable success at the box office, leading the team to organise a success bash in Bangalore. Despite the presence of stars like Prabhas, Prashanth Neel, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and others at the event, the absence of Prithviraj Sukumaran, who played the pivotal role of Varadharaja Mannar in the action flick, became the major highlight.

Sources revealed exclusively to ETimes that Prithviraj Sukumaran skipped the celebration in Bangalore as he was in the UK for the filming of his directorial project ‘L2: Empuraan.'

The source also added that the UK schedule for Mohanlal's ‘L2: Empuraan’ is expected to conclude by January 21, and following the UK shoot, Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to focus on completing his Bollywood venture 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.' which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and has Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar in the lead.

The source further said that in February, Prithviraj Sukumaran is scheduled to join the final shooting phase of Vipin Das' 'Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil,' which features Basil Joseph, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Anaswara Rajan, Siju Sunny, and others in significant roles.

Vipin Das is best known for the superhit film Basil Joseph and Darshana Rajendran starrer ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey', and the expectations are high for ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil', where Prithviraj Sukumaran will be playing an antagonist character.
