Prithviraj Sukumaran says ‘Kaapa’ will be a ‘whistle-worthy cinema’

Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently filming for ‘Kaapa’ his upcoming film helmed by Shaji Kailas. Touted to be an action-packed thriller film, ‘Kaapa’ also has Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali, and Anna Ben in the lead roles.
Prithviraj Sukumaran who is playing the lead role of Kotta Madhu shared that ‘Kaapa’ is going to be one of the best in its genre. Sharing his happiness of reuniting with Shaji Kailas after ‘Kaduva’, he added, “I am really excited about Kaapa and we have started with a bang.Shaji sir and I are back together again and we are sure of giving our fans whistle-worthy cinema.”
Filmmaker Shaji Kailas too expressed his excitement of collaborating with Prithviraj once again, and added, "I am so excited to collaborate with Prithviraj again. I believe that we make a great combo together and can bring something best to the screens. ‘Kaapa’ is an action-packed entertainer and I’ll make sure that we do justice to the script and light the screen up."

Written by G R Indugopan ‘Kaapa’ reportedly revolves around a local gangster from Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram. Manju Warrier had initially signed the film, however, she backed out citing date issues, and she was recently replaced by National award-winning actress Aparna Balamurali. Jomon T John is cranking the lens for the film, while Shammer Muhammed has roped in as the editor. Dileep Nath is in charge of the art department. The filming of ‘Kaapa’ is happening at a rapid pace, and the makers recently shared a video wherein Prithviraj Sukumaran is seen filming an action sequence.
