Prithviraj Sukumaran reveals he is teaming up with ‘Meppadiyan’ director Vishnu Mohan - Deets inside

Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to team up with ‘Meppadiyan’ director Vishnu Mohan. During the recent success meet of his film ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’, Prithviraj confirmed that he will be teaming up with Vishnu Mohan.
Vishnu Mohan, who is currently working on his upcoming sophomore directorial ‘Kadha Innuvare,’ has previously won the national award for his debut film ‘Meppadiyan’. According to a report by The New Indian Express, Prithviraj Sukumaran-Vishnu Mohan’s project is a ‘big film’.The upcoming film will be shot majorly outside Kerala. The team will start shooting next year, and the director is also scripting the film.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ was a blockbuster. The film was directed by Vipin Das. The film also featured Basil Joseph, Nikhila Vimal, and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles.
ETimes rated ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ 3 out of 5 and the review reads, “Director Vipin Das had been clear from the get-go to not expect another Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya He. Guruvayoorambala Nadayil is an out-and-out entertainer. Prithviraj and Basil were spectacular, and their chemistry is one to cherish. At one point, the audiences, like the characters in the film, wonder if it's their characters, Anandan and Vinu, respectively, who are going to get married instead of Vinu marrying Anandan's sister. The second-hand embarrassment from some of the antics makes it all the more enjoyable.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran also has his directorial ‘L2: Empuraan', Nissam Basheer’s ‘Nobody’, and Jayan Nambiar’s ‘Vilayath Buddha’ in the pipeline.
