With their very first collaboration itself, director Prithviraj and scriptwriter Murali Gopy has emerged as one of the most successful duos in Mollywood – at least in terms of box office revenue. Now, with them set to join hands again for

Empuraan

, the second instalment of the

Lucifer

franchise, it remains to be seen if they can weave the magic again.

Before Empuraan, the duo will collaborate on director Rathish Ambat’s movie, this time as actor and scriptwriter. Rathish, who had previously helmed Kammarasambhavam that was also scripted by Murali Gopy, tells us, “The movie will be set in the current era. We are hoping to start the shoot in March 2020, after Prithviraj finishes work on Aadujeevitham. Murali is currently working on the script, so any details about the character or the plot would be premature at this stage.”

Apart from Aadujeevitham, Prithviraj has a host of projects lined up this year including Brother’s Day, Driving Licence and Ayyappanum Koshyum. He is also in talks with Sudani from Nigeria team of director Zakariya and Muhsin Perari for multiple projects, according to sources.
