Prithviraj poster for Shaji Kailas directorial is laden with drama

The anticipation was building since yesterday, when Prithviraj posted on social media that there was set to be a “return after six years”. Today, on the actor-director’s birthday, the news was confirmed with a poster. Prithviraj will produce and star in Kaduva to be helmed by Shaji Kailas, who specialises in socio-political dramas and is returning to the director's seat after six years.
Apparently inspired from a true story, it looks like Prithviraj’s character does not pull any punches, literally. There are policemen’s bodies strewn around a jeep in what looks like a forest setting, with the actor sitting on the bonnet, looking heated and smoking a cigar. Written by Jinu Abraham, the cinematography is by Ravi K Chandran, music by Thaman S and co-produced by Listin Stephen.
