Prithviraj’s upcoming movies will have him as mechanics – Vimaanam and
Ranam

. While the former will see the actor’s character go on to design an ultra-light aircraft, the latter will have him mixing with the Tamil street gangs in Detroit, Michigan.

The movie, which is currently being shot in Augusta, Georgia, focuses on the immigrant community in Michigan. In an interview to a local daily, the film’s line producer had said that Prithviraj’s character “is a garage mechanic and (the movie) is about how he unwillingly gets involved in this whole world as a getaway driver. It’s about how it affects his personal life and everyone around him”.
The film, directed by debutante
Nirmal Sahadev, also has Rahman, Nandu,
Isha Talwar and Ashwin Kkumar and is reportedly based on true incidents that happened in Toronto, Canada.
