Prithviraj introduces ACP Sathyajith in latest still from Cold Case

Cold Case

. The actor looks suave and stylish as

in his civilian clothes leaning against a bike in the still from the thriller, which is directed by Tanu Balak.

The team of the movie, which marks cinematographer turned filmmaker Tanu’s directorial debut, is currently shooting in Thiruvananthapuram. Earlier, they had released a still of Prithviraj donning the police uniform when he had joined the sets a few weeks ago.

On the movie, which also has Aditi Balan as part of the cast, its director Tanu had earlier told us, “It’s an investigative thriller set in Thiruvananthapuram. It draws inspiration from real-life incidents but overall it’s a fictional story. It has a reasonable budget. Though it doesn’t have action sequences, it is still a big project. Prithviraj plays an investigative officer in the film and there are only a few scenes with crowds.” Cold Case is scripted by Srinath V Nath.

The movie’s cinematography is by Gireesh Gangadharan and Jomon T John, who is also co-producing the film with Anto Joseph and editor Shameer Muhammed. The film is shot completely following the Covid-19 protocols.

Meanwhile, before joining Cold Case, Prithviraj had completed the shoot of Dijo Jose Antony’s Jana Gana Mana, which has him playing a lawyer. The film also has him sharing screen space with Suraj Venjaramoodu after Driving Licence last year.
