Brothers
Prithviraj and Indrajith Sukumaran seem to be making a habit of teaming up for films at least once a year.
After their collaboration in Amar Akbar Anthony and Tiyaan, the duo will next be working together in
Srinath Rajendran’s movie.
A source close to the director tells us, “Srinath had discussed the script with Indrajith and Prithvi two years ago. He has been working on the pre-production since then.
The movie is based on car racing and will be made on a massive scale, which is also the reason why it has taken so long to go on floors.”
Being a film about motorsports, it will have a lot of adventure sequences that will be shot in varied locales, reveals the source, adding that the project will start rolling by the last quarter of this year, aiming at a 2018 release.
When we contacted Indrajith, he was tight lipped about the duo’s characters except that they would be seen as brothers in the film.
Srinath too refused to comment on the project, saying that he is currently focusing on a film with Sunny Wayne in the lead.
“The film I am doing right now is an experimental one that requires a different approach of shooting. We were all in Bangalore a few months ago, figuring how to go about it,” says Srinath.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj and Indrajith will next be seen in a socio-political drama Tiyaan.
