‘Premalu’s Telugu release: Makers unveil a ‘Baahubali’ themed video

The much-celebrated romantic comedy 'Premalu,' starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju, has steered its course towards the hearts of audiences, sparking widespread acclaim since its release on February 9.

Adding a new layer of excitement, the makers have officially confirmed the Telugu release. The distribution is spearheaded by SS Karthikeya, the son of renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli.


The film's creators took to social media to reveal the much-anticipated news, confirming SS Karthikeya's involvement in bringing 'Premalu' to Telugu screens. In a playful twist, a 17-second Baahubali-themed video was shared by the 'Premalu' makers.

SS Karthikeya also re-tweeted the video with a note that read, "Venturing into distribution for the first time with #Premalu. As soon as I watched, I couldn’t resist myself from releasing it in Telugu. I'm hoping it will work here too. In our theatres, in March: Special mention to this cute Baahubali-themed announcement made by team #Premalu."

Directed by Girish AD, 'Premalu' bathes in the hues of romantic comedy. The movie has Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead, along with a cameo appearance by Matthew Thomas. Meanwhile, Mammootty's 'Bramayugam', Chidambaram's survival thriller 'Manjummel Boys', and Tovino's Investigative thriller 'Anweshippin Kandethum' are also raking in good numbers at the box office.
