Girish AD, starting from the film ‘Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, has turned out to be one of the most sought-after directors in Mollywood. Recently the ‘Premalu’ director expressed his wish to direct Dulquer Salmaan in a future project.

Talking to Club FM 94.3, Girish AD revealed that from his first movie onwards, he admired Dulquer Salmaan. He said that he is interested in doing a project with Dulquer Salmaan.

Talking about whether he has approached Dulquer Salmaan and expressed his wish, Girish AD said, “No we never had any such discussions. I have close contact with Shebin (Producer of ‘Charlie’, ‘Take Off’) and he told me that Dulquer is ready to hear a script.”

Girish AD added that if he is planning to write a script for Dulquer Salmaan then it should be completely perfect. “I have thought about penning a script with Dulquer Salmaan in it, with a bigger production.”

Meanwhile, there are reports that Dulquer Salmaan will be teaming up with the ‘RDX’ director Nahas Hidayath. No official confirmation has been unveiled yet regarding the same.

On the other hand, Dulquer Salmaan is all set for the release of his most awaited upcoming film ‘Lucky Baskhar’ which will hit the big screens on October 31. The movie is directed by the ‘Vaathi’ fame Venky Atluri and the expectations are quite high. ‘Lucky Baskhar’ will have Dulquer in the titular role and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the female lead as the character named Sumathi. Coming to Mollywood, Dulquer’s previous outing was with the action film ‘King of Kotha’.
