‘Premalu’ box office collections day 40: Naslen’s film collects Rs 1.15 crore

Naslen and Mamitha Baiju's comedy drama, 'Premalu,' continues to captivate audiences, marking a significant milestone in the Malayalam film industry.

As it reaches its 40th day since release, the film adds another feather to its cap by collecting a staggering Rs 1.15 crore at the box office.

According to reports from the Sacnilk website, 'Premalu' has been a consistent performer, showcasing its prowess over the first 39 days with an impressive estimated net collection of Rs 62.77 crore across India. On its fortieth day alone, the film managed to rake in a notable sum of 1.15 crore in net collections across all languages.

The cumulative 40-day earnings for this comedy drama stand at an impressive Total of Rs 63.92 crore, with the majority coming from the Malayalam audience, contributing Rs 53.82 crore, followed by Telugu with Rs 7.9 crore, and Tamil with Rs 2.2 crore.

Overseas, 'Premalu' continues to charm audiences, with collections reaching a commendable Rs 41.00 crore over the 40-day period. The film's success isn't limited to international territories, as it achieves an India Gross Collection of Rs 75.50 crore, highlighting its widespread appeal.

Breaking down the occupancy rates on its fortieth day, 'Premalu' maintained a steady performance. In Malayalam theaters, the film saw an overall 16.79% occupancy, with varying rates throughout the day, ranging from 10.65% in morning shows to a peak of 22.75% in night shows. Similarly, in Telugu theaters, the overall occupancy stood at 17.71%, showcasing consistent interest among the Telugu audiences towards the Malayalam comedy drama film.
