’ recently shared a mash-up video online, which gives a glimpse into all the movies and characters that she has done. Her fans were quick to lap up the video, which shows the sports woman-turned-actress in diverse avatars, ranging from ultra-traditional to modern women.


Prachi played an entertainer in the film, named Unnimaya, and was paired with actor Sudev Nair’s character named Rarichan. The song ‘Mookkuthi Mookkuthi Kandilla,’ which was sung by Shreya Ghoshal, composed by M Jayachandran and written by Rafeeq Ahamed, was featured on Prachi and was quite a hit among Malayalam music lovers. Actress Ineya played her sister, named Unni Neeli in the movie. The mash-up video gives several glimpses into various moments of Unnimaya, from the film.

Before she became an actress, Prachi was an Indian netball and basketball player, and was also the former captain of the Indian Netball Team, which went on to represent India in Commonwealth Games in the year 2010, alongside a few other major Asian Championships in the following years. India had also won its first ever medal in the 2011 South Asian Beach Games, under the captaincy of Prachi. It is in television that Prachi made her acting debut, in the year 2016. She was part of the series named Diya Aur Baati Hum. Her entry into the world of movies was through a film in Punjabi language. In the movie ‘Arjan, which was directed by Manduip Singh, she played the character named Nimmy.
