‘Porattu Nadakam’: Ahead of its release, makers unveil trailer of the Saiju Kurup starrer - WATCH

Saiju Kurup starrer 'Porattu Nadakam’ is set to hit the theatres on October 18, and the makers have now launched the much-anticipated trailer.

The trailer has done complete justice to its title, as it revolves around some interesting incidents happening in the village. The trailer opens with a calf named Manikutty introducing the characters and the film's premise to the audience. Touted to be a political satire, the film, however, wraps the incidents in humour. Saiju Kurup shines throughout the trailer, and one could expect a packed entertainer in the theatres.

Directed By Noushad Saffron, the screenplay of the film is written by Suneesh Varanad, known for his films such as 'Mohanlal' and 'Eesho'. Starring Saiju Kurup, the upcoming Malayalam film also has actors Rahul Madhav, Dharmajan Bolgatti, Ramesh Pisharody, Sunil Sugatha, Nirmal Palazhi, Rajesh Azheekode, Babu Annur, Sooraj Thelakkad, Anil Baby, Shukkoor Vakeel, Sivdas Mattannoor, Sibi Thomas, Faizal, Chithra Shenoy, Chithra Nair, Aiswarya Mithun, Jijina, Geethi Sangeetha among others in supporting roles.

The film has a talented crew, including cinematographer Noushad Shereef, editor Rajesh Rajendran, and musician Rahul Raj. The art department is handled by Sujith Raghav. The makeup is done by Libin Mohanan. The costumes are designed by Soorya Rajeswari. The action choreography was done by Mafia Sasi. The lyrics are penned by BK Harinarayanan and Fouzia Abubacker. Arjun Menon is a colorist. The choreography is done by Sajna Najam, and Saheer Abbas.


Meanwhile, Saiju Kurup’s latest web series ‘Jai Mahendran’ is currently streaming on OTT. He is also basking in the success of his latest release ‘Bharathanatyam’.
