'Poratam' the film with the least expenditure, launches its trailer

Shalin Zoya starrer 'Poratam' made news recently as the Malayalam film which was put together within the budget of Rs 25,000.

The trailer of the film, directed by Bilahari, is just released and it hints that the story also discusses the fights undertaken by women for freedom and survival, in a deeply prejudiced society. Navajith Narayanan and Vineeth Vasudevan also play important roles in the movie.

The film was apparently shot within a village for just 15 days, and the crew didn't reveal anything about it until recently. It was also shot mostly in the houses of friends and family of the crew, to manage expenses.
