Poo Ramu no more: Mammootty pens an emotional note mourning the demise of ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ co-star

Tamil actor Poo Ramu who stunned the audience with his realistic acting prowess passed away on Monday, June. He was 60. As Poo Ramu was a significant part of several Tamil films, many celebs have taken to their official social media handles to pay condolences to the veteran actor.

Mollywood actor Mammootty turned emotional as he penned a tribute note for ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ co-star.The ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ actor took to his official Facebook handle and shared a picture with Poo Ramu and penned a note that read, “Saddened to hear the demise of one of the finest artists in Tamil cinema. Poo Ramu. Heartfelt condolences to his family and dear ones & Thank you for being a part of ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’.”

Poo Ramu predominantly worked in the Tamil film industry and has his hand in several super hit movies such as ‘Soorarai Pottru’, ‘Karnan’, ‘Thanga Meengal’, ‘Pariyerum Perumal’, ‘Thilagar’, and ‘Neer Paravai’.

Poo Ramu has also played a significant role in the Mammootty starrer Tamil emotional drama movie ‘Peranbu’ as the character David. The film was written and directed by Ram and was released in the year 2018. Apart from Mammootty, the film also featured the actors Sadhana, Anjali, Anjali Ameer, and Samuthirakani in significant roles.
On the other hand, Poo Ramu also played a pivotal role in Mammootty’s upcoming movie ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Nayakkam’ which is directed by the renowned director Lijo Jose Pellissery and the story is set in Tamil Nadu. The film also has the actors Ramya Pandian and Ashokan in significant roles.
