Politician PC George to play himself in Achayans

Politician PC George is no novice when it comes to facing the camera for films. The MLA has already acted in films such as 9 KK Road and Elanjikkavu P.O. In his next Mollywood outing,

Achayans

, the politician would be playing himself.
The former Chief Whip has already finished shooting for his portions in the Kannan Thamarakulam directorial, which has Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Unni Mukundan, Adil Ibrahim and Amala Paul.
Its scriptwriter Sethu tells us, 'PC George appears as himself in the introduction scene of Adil Ibrahim's character. The leader comes to Adil's rescue.' On choosing the politician for the movie, Sethu says, 'It's not a gimmick but those scenes required someone of PC George's stature as the leader's support is supposed to be the biggest strength of Adil's character. And who better to choose than the man himself?'
The team had already finished shooting the first schedule of the movie in Vagamon and will next start filming from December 26 in Kothamangalam. 'Amala Paul will join the team during the schedule,' says Sethu.
