Pia Bajpiee’s brother dies of COVID complications

had sought netizens’ help on Tuesday morning to get a bed with ventilator in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, for her brother who was critical due to

COVID

complications.

Many tried to help her, but within a few hours, her brother passed away. “My brother is no more,” the distraught actress announced via her social media page, hours after she had made the plea.

In the morning, she had posted, “I need urgent help in district Farukhabad ,

kayamganj

block .UP… a bed wd ventilator ..my brother is dying ..any lead plz help. Plz Contact if u know anybody -9415191852 Abhishek.. we are already in mess (sic).” Many actors and their family members have also been turning COVID positive in the past few weeks.

The actress, who has worked in Malayalam movies like

Masters

and

Aamayum Muyalum

has been working mainly in Tamil and

Telugu

movies, like ‘Abhiyum Anuvum’ with Tovino Thomas, which was released two years ago. Almost a week ago, the actress had also shared a post about warriors, which read, “Warrior. Remind yourself of what you've been able to overcome. All the times you felt like you weren't going to make it through, you proved yourself wrong. You're more powerful than you think."
