Poornima shot to fame with the 2000 release 'Varnakkazchchakal' which gave her more space to perform. Movies like 'Valliettan', 'Naranathu Thampuran' and 'Randaam Bhavam' earned her a lot of fame.The actress took a break after marriage, and she focused more on her career in fashion. Poornima is an entrepreneur now and also owns a fashion label.Poornima has recently made her second innings in M-Town with the 2019 film ‘Virus’ in which she played a medical officer. She has also signed ‘Thuramukham’ which is helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Rajeev Ravi. The film has already been wrapped and is expected to hit the screens in a couple of months. Meanwhile, she also bagged the State Award for 'Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur of Kerala 2020’ recently.
