Petition filed against Kasaba

Petition filed against Kasaba
A petition has been filed against the Mammootty film Kasaba by someone called Anthony Richard.
The petitioner has alleged that he is an ardent fan of Mammootty and so went to watch the movie after checking the trailer and description of the movie, none of which suggested that it couldn't be watched by children. The certification was U/A, which meant the child could watch it if accompanied by an adult.

However, on watching the movie, he found the content highly offensive and vulgar, completely unsuitable for a child, he says. Complaints were initiated against the director and producer of the movie but no action was taken which is why the petition was filed, he says.
