‘The Pet Detective’: It’s a wrap for the Sharafudheen- Anupama Parameswaran starrer

It's a wrap for ‘The Pet Detective’ starring Sharafudheen and Anupama Parameswaran. The makers wrapped up the shoot on Monday, September 2, after 83 days of shooting. The film’s co-writer Jai Vishnu confirmed the same via his social media handle on Tuesday. As the team has wrapped up the shoot, the film is expected to go into post-production soon.

Featuring the ‘Premam’ actors Sharafudheen and Anupama Parameswaran, the upcoming film is helmed by debutant Praneesh Vijayan, who has previously co-written Omar Lulu's ‘Happy Wedding’. The makers have earlier launched a first look poster that featured Sharafudheen and a dog.

On the technical front, the cinematography will be done by Anend C Chandran. The editing is done by Abhinav Sunder Nayak. The music will be composed by Rajesh Murugesan. Dino Shankar is the production designer. The audiography department will be done by Vishnu Shankar. The costumes are designed by Gayathri Kishore. The makeup will be done by Ronex Xavier.


On the other hand, Sharafudheen’s recent outing was ‘Level Cross’ in which he co-starred alongside Asif Ali and Amala Paul. The psychological thriller received good response in the theatres. ETimes rated the film 3 out of 5 and our review reads, “Level Cross is not a conventional entertainer; it is a film that delves into psychological complexities. It is a film that rewards viewers who appreciate intricate narratives and symbolic storytelling.
