Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo join Mohanlal’s Barroz

Mohanlal had earlier said that his directorial debut Barroz will have a cast and crew that largely consists of foreigners. The superstar revealed the first two members of the international cast – Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo.
Spanish actress Paz Vega had starred in several Hollywood films including Spanglish, Kill the Messenger and the upcoming Rambo movie. Rafael Amargo, meanwhile, is an acclaimed Spanish theatre actor and choreographer.
The fantasy film will have Mohanlal playing Barroz, the guardian of Vasco Da Gama’s treasure.Another pivotal character in the film is of a 12-year-old girl. The team is currently busy casting for the movie, which is expected to go on floors by late this year or January 2020.
