Mollywood actor Krishna Shankar’s dark comedy film ‘Pattapakal’, which did not garner significant attention during its theatrical run, has now made its debut on OTT.
The film, directed by Saajir Sadaf, began streaming on Saina Play on August 27.
‘Ullozhukku’ fame Prashant Murali who plays a major role in the film, announced the OTT release with a special teaser on Instagram, encouraging viewers to tune in with the caption, “Get ready to laugh 'Pattappakal' Streaming now On SainaPlay Watch Now @johnyantonyofficial @abhiramradhakrishnan_ @sudhy_kopa @rameshpisharody @kichutellus.” The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Sudhi Kopa, Ramesh Pisharody, Prashant Murali, and Gokulan, alongside Krishna Shankar.
Pattapakal centers around a vintage car that becomes a highly coveted item, leading to a series of events involving local small-time crooks. Kichu plays the role of a wealthy but unscrupulous businessman who is at the center of the car's disappearance.
One of the highlights of the film is its musical score by Shaan Rahman, which adds an extra layer of charm to the narrative. The film combines moments of dark humor with a storyline rooted in real-life events, aiming to offer viewers both laughter and suspense.
