The Malayalam spy thriller, which reunited Mammootty and Mohanlal after a long gap, was released on May 1. It initially opened to largely positive responses. Mammootty’s remarks on mixed reactions

During a public event in Dubai, Mammootty addressed the varied audience response. As per a report by Mid-day, he said, “We are living in an era where privacy is increasingly lost, and the film Patriot addresses this relevant subject.” He also acknowledged differing opinions about the film. He said, “There will be different views—good, bad, partly good, mostly good. Everyone is free to express their opinion as they feel. Some of you may have heard such opinions before coming here. Whatever it is, you will form your own view, and that is what matters. Films are made with the intention of being enjoyed by all.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
