‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ release date: Siju Wilson’s epic drama to hit the big screens on THIS day

Mollywood veteran filmmaker Vinayan is aiming it much bigger for this year by scaling up the production levels a bit and promising to offer a completely breathtaking visual extravaganza with his upcoming epic drama movie ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’. Recently the director shared a major update regarding his magnum opus as he announced that the film will hit the big screens as an Onam release.

Vinayan took to his official Facebook handle and shared a motion poster from the epic drama and penned a note that read, “‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ is hitting the theatres during this Onam celebration.” Vinayan also mentioned that his magnum opus will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages. He also thanked the producer and everyone behind the film ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ who worked hard for the success of his dream project.

Earlier during an interview with the ETimes, the actress Renu Soundar who played a major role in the movie said exclusively that ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ will be a magnificent film that is mounted on a huge budget. She also said that the huge set erected for ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ by Ajayan Challissery made her feel like she entered a whole new world while acting in Vinayan’s directorial film.
In another exclusive interview with Niya Sankarathil who is essaying the role of ‘Velutha’ in Pathonpatham Noottandu’, she opened up by saying that one can relate the film with epic Malayalam movies such as ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’ or even ‘Marakkar’. She further added that it felt like a dream-come-true moment for her to be part of Vinayan’s epic movie.
Written and directed by Vinayan, ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ tells the story of a fiery Ezhava chieftain Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker played by the actor Siju Wilson. Vivek Harshan is roped in as the editor and the actors Anoop Menon, Kayadu Lohar, Deepti Sati, Poonam Bajwa, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Indrans play pivotal roles in the movie.
