When
Vinayan announced his next movie titled Pathonpatham Nootandu, all
Mohanlal fans became curious as the director had announced a movie with Mohanlal.
The director clarifies that Pathonpatham Nootandu, a movie on the history of Travancore and its iconic heroes of 19th century, is not his Mohanlal movie. “It would go on floors after Mohanlal’s directorial debut Baroz. I just do not want to make a movie with Mohanlal for the sake of it. I am planning a vast subject with him which can be narrated only in huge canvas,” he says.
The director also divulges that Pathonpatham Nootandu is a big budget movie and will have more than 25 prominent actors from the industry. “It is a big movie and has three main leads. Apart from them, there are many interesting character roles too. Also, the crew too have experienced hands,” he says adding that the casting has been done.
“One of the leads has already begun his training for martial arts and is getting into his character. I want to announce the star cast in a grand way in November,” he says.
The team is planning to begin the shoot in mid-December. “If the number of Covid-19 cases come down and the situation comes under control, we would definitely begin the shoot,” he says. The movie’s music is by
