'Pathinettam Padi' to release on July 5

, directed by Shankar Ramakrishnan has been in the news for long for the kind of star cast it brings together and the lead actor's uber cool looks in the film.

For quite a while, Mammootty fans have been waiting to watch the character John Abraham Palackal, a Standor professor, on the big screen. Now, we hear that the movie has got a release date, and it will hit screens on July 5. The film, which also has Unni Mukundan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Arya, Priya Anand, Ahaana Krishna and Saniya Iyappan as actors, has music by A R Rahman's nephew A H Kaashif. The movie will also have about 14 new face s from each of districts of the State, making their debut through the project.
