They were to start work on a big project when the Covid-19 pandemic struck and stopped that venture on its tracks. They then turned their attention to making this film.
The scriptwriters, who are newbies in the industry, worked hard to get a foothold in the industry, taking their story to several people. They were enthused by a meeting with director Joshiy, with his son Abhilash Joshiy supporting them in their scriptwriting venture.
As their first film gets ready for release, the duo remembers how as school students they got their big break on stage by chance. Aneesh and Sreejith were enthusiastic audiences of a comedy stage show that actor Suraj Venjaramoodu would perform in at a venue close to their houses. Once when Suraj did not come, they presented the show to a warm response. It gave them the confidence to be performers.
They are now set to do their second project with Kannan Thamarakulam, with Aneesh also acting in the director’s current film, Virunnu. The duo is writing a script that they will direct, as well.
