Actress Parvathy Thiruvoth’s brother turns filmmaker.
Parvathy’s brother Aum has directed a short film, which is titled ’31.’ The movie’s direction, cinematography and edit are all done by Aum himself.
The film, which was released on Youtube a few days ago, is a movie of 12-minute 28 seconds duration. Aum, who is a professional photographer based abroad, often posts interesting photos via his social media pages, online.
Meanwhile, the cast of ‘31’ includes Biyon Tom, Sarah Donald, Deepak Thomas, Arun Kumar, Kense Philip and Dileep Jose. Its screenplay is by Jijo Elampal and music is by Aravind Ravi Varma.
The movie, which starts off by showing a handful of friends, goes on to take the audience through a handful of thrilling and insightful scenes, has been garnering quite a bit of support online as well. The film, which belongs to the genre, is given English subtitles. Many have been inquiring whether the project is meant as a launching pad for the filmmaker, though he hasn’t spoken about it anywhere.

Meanwhile, Aum’s sister Parvathy has quite a few interesting projects coming up. Parvathy, who was seen last in the 2019 film ‘Virus’ as Dr Annu, will next be seen next in the film ‘Rachiyamma,’ directed by Venu, ‘Oru Halal Love Story’ by Zackariya Muhammad. Last year, Parvathy was also part of the critically acclaimed project named ‘Uyare,’ in which she played an aspiring pilot named Pallavi Raveendran, who becomes an acid attack victim. She will also be part of Siddhartha Siva’s ‘Varthamanam.’
