Parvathy files case against online abuse: one arrested

Following a complaint filed by actress Parvathy against those who abused her on social media, the Ernakulam South police has arrested one person.
He has been identified as Printo from Vadakkancherry. Parvathy has apparently submitted screenshots and other details of the abuse she has recieved, to the police. The abuse started after Parvathy made a comment about the film Kasaba during the IFFK.She said that she felt disappointed that an actor like Mammootty acted in a film like Kasaba, which has a lot of misognystic content. Reports say that more arrests are possible. According to the IT act, threatening and insulting the dignity of a woman are criminal.
