Soubin Shahir's debut directorial seems to be a tribute to his birthplace Fort Kochi and the middle-class youth of the region. A film that focuses on the game of pigeon flying and how deeply it's ingrained in the life of youngsters there, it has a handful of little flyers and their friendships through which the tale takes shape.
While it starts with the life and likes of a little, school going Irshad, the first half soon diverts to the show the story of a young Shane Nigam.
The extended cameo of
Dulquer Salmaan, as a much liked and respected Imran, is the highlight of the first half.
Jacob Gregory as Majeed, Srinath Bhasi and Soubin Shahir as part of the trouble maker gang also generate interest to wait for the next half.
