Padmapriya has never shied away from playing mommy roles in Mollywood. In fact, the actress made her debut playing a mother in director Blessy's critically-acclaimed movie Kaazhcha opposite Mammootty.
For her next venture, which is a 10-minute vignette as part of portmanteau film Crossroad, the actress will once again be seen as a mom. The feature is scripted and helmed by actor-filmmaker Madhupal, who tells us, 'While the movie focuses on mothers forced to live on the streets, Padmapriya plays a member of a middle class household.'
Apart from Padmapriya, a child artiste and Chandni Geetha, who played Rosie in Kamal's Celluloid are the other characters in the feature.
